This Easter, a group of students travelled down to Cornwall to join in with friends from the TCAA for a week long course. I also took my eight year old son.
I thought he may do an hour or so for a couple of days – he ended up doing three full days of 6 hours?
And why go all the way to Cornwall to practice T’ai Chi? Well apart from the chance to train with friends from all around the country, and learn from a vastly experienced group of instructors, just a chance to take in the beautiful surroundings is reason enough to refresh the soul……
I remember travelling all over the country to Bristol, Hull and Leeds to train with Chee Soo and we also went to Wales when he moved there and camped. It was all part of the experience of learning T’ai Chi . Before we moved here there were 5 years of training when we all lived together on the campsite in a caravan and in the Barn at Brea. So we have all come a long way …..
